    Don’t submit an offer TOO low. You’ll insult the seller, and they won’t work with you as well in regard to pricing. They’ll find you offensive and think you’ll be difficult to work with. Furthermore, they’ll think you aren’t serious. You don’t want a seller to think you aren’t serious about buying their home.

  2. Great tip, Ronald 🙂 You should start at your lowest offer, but you definitely should not insult the seller when it comes to buying their property. Even sending offers on eBay, I’m guilty of flat out ignoring someone when they offer a price that’s way too low (on the make an offer option). And, if I get insulted on a mediocrely expensive top, I know I would be verrry irritated about someone offering next to nothing for my house
